Who doesn't love Christmas shopping right, but the stress of spending too much money can make it not fun at all. Finding the right present for your loved ones should be a fun experience. But what can happen when we go shopping is we veer sideways off course forgetting we had a plan, a budget and a list to follow. Next minute overspending has happened and now you've gone over your budget for that person so have to spend more on the other person on your list to make it even. OK that may not happen to everyone but it does happen very easily.
Make sure you have a plan worked out, what & who you are going to buy for and what your budget is, do your pre-planning and have a look online first so you know where you can get the gift and how much it costs, this will stop you dawdling from shop to shop and buying unnecessary gifts. This is your plan of attack. You could create a spreadsheet or use a notebook to keep track of your gift buying and spending. Maybe suggest to family that you do a secret Santa if it's not something that you have done before with a maximum spend, each person can then write a wish list. Easy.
Don't make Christmas shopping stressful, with planning it can be a fun experience and you don't have to buy expensive gifts, it still is the thought that counts. Merry Christmas.
